T.I.’s “Addresses” Video: See Tip Go HAM On A Revenge Spree
Well, here’s something totally upsetting! T.I. has just dropped the video for his latest Trouble Man single “Addresses,” and it’s — well — it’s certainly cinematic! That’s a thing that it is. It’s also kind of violent and horrifying, though, isn’t it?
Taking the shape of a good old-fashioned vengeance spree, the clip sees T.I. going on a killing spree after a gunman attacks Tip and his family — so there’s lots of guns, and gun violence, which is okay, maybe, since sure, it’s certainly authentic to many experiences of violence, but also, what a bummer! A big, violent bummer. And it’s not really glamorous or fun — just depressing. Maybe we’re being too sensitive, but it would be cool if he could go back to encouraging us to live our lives instead of chasing that paper. This all feels a little grim.
