FAYE Performs “Water Against The Rocks” Live At Pianos: The Idolator Sessions
We’ve already extolled the virtues of FAYE and her brilliant single “Water Against the Rocks,” so it’s a particular pleasure to premiere this video of the Swedish chanteuse performing the track live in New York City. Shot last month at Pianos NYC on the Lower East Side during an intimate set, FAYE showcased her jaw-dropping live vocals — backed by production duo Montauk — and distinctive stage presence, equal parts demure and self-assured. (The vocals around 2:40 are chill-inducing in their power.)
Don’t be surprised when this song ends up ubiquitous in America, too: It’s only a matter of time.
