The Saturdays To Tour With Justin Bieber, Maybe: Report

Have you been chasing The Saturdays on their E! reality show Chasing The SaturdaysCool! So have Justin Bieber‘s manager Scooter Braun and pop superproducer Dallas Austin, according to an entirely dubious-sounding report from The Daily Star that’s exactly the sort of thing we’d want to have in the press if we were managing an international girl group struggling to break ground in the United States (not that there’s anything remotely suspicious about the story, or the English tabloid machine in general).

According to The Daily Star, Braun and Austin went to an intimate acoustic set at The Sats’ US label headquarters with an eye on Braun helping their stateside launch and Austin producing some new tunes for them — and what they saw was so impressive, “Scooter immediately called Justin to tell him he’d found the ‘perfect’ act to open for him at venues in the US.”

And that’s not all! A source claims that in addition to opening for Bieber, The Saturdays would collaborate with him on “at least one number,” meaning that they would be “guaranteed a No. 1 hit in the US.” (Not sure if that’s quite how it works, kids, but okay.)

In short: If The Sats want to team up with the Biebs on a big dance banger, that’s totally fine — just leave Sean Paul out of it.
