:: One Direction‘s Liam Payne got a new dog with his girlfriend Danielle Peazer. As you can see up top, Loki is adorable. But apparently some especially rabid Directioners want it dead, because they don’t want Payne to be in a happy relationship with someone who isn’t them. [Daily Record]

:: Don’t worry, we have even more news that’ll help you lose faith in humanity. Two men in their 30s are on trial for allegedly plotting to rob and decapitate singer Joss Stone. The British men were arrested near the singer’s house in the UK with “a samurai sword, knives, a hammer, black bags and gloves” and notes mentioning decapitating and dumping the body. [HitFix]

:: And now for something a bit lighter. Pink stopped a Philadelphia concert mid-song after she noticed a little girl near the front of the crowd crying. To cheer the girl up, Pink gave her a stuffed animal and a Rice Krispies treat, which she weirdly just happened to have at the front of the stage. [Gossip Cop]

:: John Mayer and Katy Perry have split again, though this time it seems like they’re leaving open the option of getting back together. Sources say they’re both very focused on work right now. [Us Weekly]
