Watch Jessica Sanchez Perform An Acoustic Version Of “Tonight”
Jessica Sanchez just unleashed the video for her first single “Tonight,” and she has already put together an unplugged version of the track. Sanchez performed the acoustic take of her Me, You & the Music song for Yahoo!, swapping out Ne-Yo for a couple of guitarists, and the stripped down version showcases her vocal power — as well as our favorite lyric of 2013 so far (“Everybody’s wack and so depressing”).
While we were just getting used to the new, dancier Sanchez, this takes us back to those dramatic American Idol performances that made us such big Sanchez fans last year. Check out the performance up top, head here for the lyrics to “Tonight.”
Jessica’s debut album is out April 30, and shortly after that the 17-year-old will appear on a string of Glee episodes.
