Ke$ha’s “Dancing With The Devil”: Hear The ‘Warrior’ Demo

Pop music — particularly of the rock ilk — has a storied history with Satan. Save for shock artists like Marilyn Manson, though, musicians usually make the Devil seem like a pretty rad dude. It’s no surprise, then, that Ke$ha was tempted to throw her hat into the ring to sing about the party animal known as The Dark Lord. And so we have “Dancing with the Devil,” an unreleased track purportedly from her Warrior sessions.

As far as demos go, this one sounds pretty fleshed out. It’s crunchy, with a girl group handclap beat, and certainly would’ve fit into the overall feel of Warrior — especially Lady Dolla’s feral howl near the end, which echoes her playful rage on “Dirty Love.” We don’t know why the track didn’t make the final cut, but one thing is clear after hearing it: the Devil wears body glitter. Check it out after the jump.
