We are officially less than two weeks from the release date of Save Rock And RollFall Out Boy’s much-anticipated return-but-not-technically-reunion album. As the day draws nearer, the band has been teasing things like a mildly frightening music video story arc and epic collaborations — the first of which was with 2 Chainz, who starred in the video for the album’s first single, “My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light ‘Em Up).”

Now, 2 Chainz has put his own spin on the song, releasing a remix that includes a verse he debuted with the band during their performance at NBA All-Star Weekend in February.

The rapper’s version gives the song a more electronic feel, filling it out with a lot of synths in addition to the driving beat and heavy guitars. The new verse comes in at the bridge, and 2 Chainz raps about lighting ’em up (what else), the amount of money he has (not enough) and the amount of girls on his coattails (more than enough).

FOB has a solid track record of putting out some great hip-hop collaborations and remixes, and this one is no exception. The synth-y additions put an interesting twist on the track without taking away from the distinctive Fall Out Boy sound. Hopefully, the greatness of this collab points to the greatness of the other ones on the album (we’re particularly anxious to hear the track featuring Courtney Love).

Listen to the remix below.
