Watch HAIM Perform “Forever” On ‘Later… With Jools Holland’
We’ve been talking up HAIM‘s live game for a few weeks now, and those of you who still haven’t had a chance to see them perform can finally get a taste of the band in action up top. (But seriously, see them live!) The three California sisters performed “Forever” on BBC’s Later… with Jools Holland, and as expected, the grooves were tight, the harmonies were smooth and the drums were crisp.
The song seems simple, but live the intricacies really become apparent — the abrupt crescendos and decrescendos, that undulating bass line intertwining with guitar stabs. And that’s impressive and all, but bassist Este Haim stole the show with her John Mayer-esque guitar faces.
