Ludacris & Young Jeezy Were “Raised In The South”: Hear Luda’s New Banger

Ludacris is from Atlanta, GA. He often likes to remind us of that in song, most recently on Big Boi‘s “In the A,” an ode to ATL a.k.a. Hotlanta a.k.a. The A, apparently. Atlanta is part of “The South,” and rappers from that region tend to be very proud of that fact, often making entire songs about it. It’s true! That time-honored tradition continues with Ludacris and fellow Atlanta MC Young Jeezy on “Raised in the South.”

The duo takes it to the trap for the banger, with Luda in full-on growl mode and Jeezy doing his usual gravelly thing over a hefty 808 beat. This is one you’ll want to blast with the windows down. The track is off Luda’s forthcoming I Don’t Give A Fuck mixtape. Check it out below.
