Fall Out Boy Save Rock And Roll (For A Week, At Least) By Topping Album Chart

Did Fall Out Boy end up saving rock and roll with their latest album? In a sense, they did…for the time being. Save Rock And Roll soars to the peak position of the Billboard 200 after selling 154,000 copies out of the gate. But in the process, the quartet also gives the genre an unwelcome kick in the ass by bumping fellow rockers Paramore down from #1, where their self-titled LP debuted last week, to #12.

Meanwhile, Kid Cudi‘s third solo album Indicud settles for a #2 debut (136,000), as Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience hangs tight at #3, further cementing its status as 2013’s breakout sales champ.
