Phillip Phillips Cancels Remaining Tour Dates Under “Doctor’s Orders”
Fans of American Idol certainly remember last season when eventual champion Phillip Phillips was struggling with health issues, often performing at less than 100% as he dealt with kidney problems. Those issues seem to have reemerged during his current tour, as he posted on Facebook today (May 6) that he has had to postpone his eight remaining shows.
“Hey guys, due to doctor’s orders I have to postpone my last few tour dates. They will be rescheduled!” he wrote in the post. The “Gone, Gone, Gone” singer also promised he’d still be touring with John Mayer this summer.
