Bad Rabbits are unleashing the funk with their debut album American Love. The 5-member group (who met at Boston’s Northeastern University) combine smooth falsettos with groovy guitar licks suitable for any dancefloor.

Their new video for the single “Can’t Fool Me” tells the story of a girl who tries to play a love game but just ends up getting exposed. Bassist Graham Masser breaks it down: “In the video we wanted the girl to get ‘Catfished’ when she’s unknowingly led into a Bad Rabbits show and the band and crowd are all in on it. Before she figures it out it’s too late, and the crowd moshes and head walks all over her. That’s what happens to skeezers.” (He’s right: It really is.)

The “Can’t Fool Me” video was directed by Drew Gilbert of FreshbakedOTO and Shomi Patwary of KarmaloopTV.

American Love drops May 14, with the band’s American Love Summer Tour to follow in July. Check the dates on their official Facebook.
