Solange Knowles’ “Locked in Closets” Mini-Video: Watch
Solange Knowles keeps it short but ultra-chic in her new mini-video for “Locked in Closets.” The Alan Del Rio Ortiz-directed clip (in collaboration with Refinery29) follows the singer as she strolls through her favorite spots in Brooklyn. The ’80s-inspired tune is a fitting backdrop for the vibrant hues from Solange’s designer ‘fits, a bubblegum pink brownstone in Park Slope and even some candy-colored balloons.
The singer shows off her fun lifestyle as she frolics with flowers, cruises through the city on a vintage bike and savors her memories through Polaroid flicks. Frequent collaborator Dev Hynes also makes a quick cameo during a house party scene — which will have you longing for playful summer rooftop parties. Cocktails, anyone?
