Drake is most definitely at the top with a dozen nominations at the 2013 BET Awards. Despite not releasing a new album since November 2011, he’s had a busy year with guest spots, videos and a couple singles from his forthcoming album. Oh, and that Aaliyah album if it ever happens.

The Canadian rapper is up for Best Male Hip-Hop Artist, Video of the Year (“Started From the Bottom” and “HYFR”) and Viewers Choice, among others. Nobody else snagged nearly as many nods as Drizzy; 2 Chainz and Kendrick Lamar were the closest with eight nominations each.

This year’s BET Awards take place at L.A.’s Nokia Theatre and will air June 30 at 8 p.m. ET. Chris Brown and R. Kelly are the first confirmed performers for the ceremony, and Chris Tucker will serve as host. For the full list of nominees, head to BET.com.
