Kelly Rowland, Beyonce & Michelle Williams’ “You’ve Changed”: Hear The Destiny’s Child Trio Reunited

Fact: It’s Kelly Rowland‘s world. We’re just living in it.

The newly announced X Factor judgestress, renowned talker of good game and frequent recipient of kisses down low has just unveiled a new song from her upcoming LP Talk a Good Game — and it’s probably the one that many fans were most curious to hear: “You’ve Changed,” featuring Rowland’s former Destiny’s Child cohorts Beyonce and Michelle Williams

Good news: The Harmony Samuels-produced cut is soulful, catchy, and most significantly, totally owned by Rowland. “It’s not a Destiny’s Child track,” she told Billboard, “it’s me featuring Beyonce and Michelle.” And indeed it is; while Bey’s second-verse delivery is necessarily a little showy, it doesn’t steal Kelly’s thunder. (As per usual, Michelle gets relegated to duties so late in the game she’s practically mewling over the outro.)

It’s certainly an improvement upon the drowsy “Nuclear,” which should sate the appetites of erstwhile Destiny fans, and a nice new addition to Beyonce’s growing catalogue of half-finished Tumblr tracks, commercial jingles and guest features with acts who used to stand in her shadow.
