Lady Gaga Poses With Grace Jones, Who Once Very Publicly Shaded Mother Monster

Well, look at that — what a difference three years makes in the world of pop feuds. (Pay attention, Azealia Banks.) In April 2010, style and R&B-pop icon Grace Jones let it be known to UK paper the Guardian that she wasn’t very thrilled with Lady Gaga‘s fashion choices, nor would she consider pairing up with the “Born This Way” hook borrower.

When asked if she had been approached by Camp Gaga to do some collaborative warbling at the time, Jones told the paper, “Yes, she did, but I said no. I’d just prefer to work with someone who is more original and someone who is not copying me, actually.”

However, it now seems that Grace and Gaga have buried the hatchet — at least for the sake of the above photo op. Here we see the two posing with renowned Irish hat designer Philip Treacy.

Gaga, who’s been quiet on the pop promo front since canceling a slew of Born This Way Ball dates in mid-February to undergo hip surgery, posted the pic to her fan-subscribed site LittleMonsters.com.

MTV UK ponders whether Jones will indeed be collabing with Gaga on the latter’s upcoming (we think?) album ARTPOP.

Hey, never say never. Sure, Grace stated the following three years ago: “Well, you know, I’ve seen some things she’s worn that I’ve worn, and that does kind of piss me off.”

But it looks like she got over it.
