After seven months on the charts, Rihanna‘s seventh studio album Unapologetic has gone platinum. Cue the Illuminati conspiracy theories and 777 Tour PTSD flashbacks!
Yes, the ratchet princess snagged her sixth (!) platinum-selling album with her latest LP; as Billboard notes, her only album to miss platinum certification was her 2005 debut, Music of the Sun, which sold 600,000 copies. Unapologetic went platinum faster than its predecessor, Talk That Talk.
And you call her a singles artist? As she herself would probably say: #phuckyosales.
