Johnny Stimson Makes A Big Splash With “Human Man”: Watch

Meet Johnny Stimson, the as-yet unsigned (but that probably won’t be the case for much longer) crooner whose latest single “Human Man” is making major waves: The smooth, disco-inflected track sits somewhere between Private and Daft Punk with a little twist of Adam Levine‘s funk-pop styling, anchored by Stimson’s gorgeous falsetto.

Coupled with a smartly produced video that sees Stimson looking quite soulful on a city roof intercut with Run Lola Run-esque footage of a lilac-haired pixie getting chased through the city streets by a dude who is clearly not a human man, it’s a promising offering — and Stimson’s done a fine job of throwing his hat into the ring as another contender for song of the summer.

Watch up top.
