Amanda Bynes To Sign Record Deal – No, Really

There could be a happy ending for the fairytale turned acid-induced nightmare otherwise known as Amanda Bynes‘ life with news that her dream of becoming a hip hop star might just come true.

Daniel Herman, a spokesman for Chinga Chang Records, confirms they are on the verge of inking a deal with the selfie-obsessed Twitter legend.

He told RadarOnline: “The fact that Amanda wants to do hip hop music means that Chinga Chang label is the best place for her to do this.”

While we’re excited to hear the budding femcee’s potentially era-defining flow, the question remains – what kind of record company would sign a clearly-distressed, completed-untested talent?

There is very little information about Chinga Chang online and what we could find raises eyebrows. In fact, the only news item on their website relates to the non-existent music career of Hilary Duff‘s sister.

While the label is backed by The Orchard and Sony Entertainment, we hope Amanda’s lawyers are doing their due diligence.

Particularly when Herman cites that Drake tweet as one of the reasons he wants to sign her.

“I think that she’s more gangster than Drake,” Herman said. He could be right but can Amanda rap as good as him? Or at all?
