Britney Spears Talks To Ryan Seacrest About New Album & Las Vegas Residency
Britney Spears called into On Air with Ryan Seacrest earlier today (June 17) to chat about her forthcoming album, that rumored Vegas residency and her bubbly, bombastic new Smurfs 2 song “Ooh La La.” Brit’s been cagey about the new album (although executive producer will.i.am has been eager to talk about all those work lunches), so what new details did she reveal here that she didn’t talk about before? Well, the superstar emphasized that the new record will be different from anything else she has released.
“[Will.i.am.] has a lot of really interesting different tracks that I’ve listened to that are really cool that I haven’t actually written on yet. But there’s a lot of guitar and I think people will be surprised with this album. It’s going to be really different.” Spears said it’ll be out by the end of the year.
As for Vegas? That residency is still not official. “It’s quite possible , yes. Nothing’s confirmed yet,” she said. Head below to hear the full interview.
