As Mariah Carey builds anticipation for her next album out July 23, she hit the studio Friday night with Atlanta rapper Young Jeezy and producer Mike WiLL Made It. The studio sessions mark Carey and Jeezy’s second collaboration since “Side Effects” from Carey’s 2008 album E=MC².

Jeezy did not specify whether they were working on Carey’s new album, reportedly titled The Art of Letting Go, or his follow-up to his 2012 mixtape Its Tha World. Still, the studio sessions could amount to yet another contender for this year’s Song of the Summer, following Miley Cyrus“We Can’t Stop” (produced by Mike WiLL Made It) and Carey’s own “#Beautiful” (featuring Miguel).

For now, Young Jeezy has posted not one, but two photos with Carey during their studio sessions. “Boss ya life up!!” he said on Twitter, when he posted a second photo of him and Carey mid-laughter, champagne flutes on hand. His Instagram game may not compare to Carey’s just yet, but it just got a little more fabulous. Check out the second photo after the jump.
