Mariah Carey And Miguel Drop Spanglish Version Of “#Beautiful”: Listen To “Hermosa”

Mariah Carey promised us a spanglish version of “#Beautiful” yesterday (June 26) and less than 24 hours later the Lamb Queen delivers. “Hermosa” is a total guilty pleasure. I’m not a native Spanish speaker by any means but even I can tell there are some major pronunciation issues. The thing is – who really cares? This is pop song, not a language class. Mimi and Miguel still sound amazing and it’s great that they’re tailoring the Song Of The Summer to Latin fans.

The Spanglish version of “#Beautiful” is a lot more enjoyable than the unnecessary A$AP Rocky remix. It stays true to the original’s breezy vibe and places the emphasis back on Mariah’s glorious pipes. Apparently there is another hip-hop collaboration – as well as dance remixes – on the way, which should make our lives even more #beautiful.
