2013 is shaping up to be a great year for music, and this year’s Teen Choice Awards highlights some of pop’s biggest players: Britain (and America)’s favorite boy band One Direction are set to open the awards show with the television debut of their new single “Best Song Ever,” while rockers Paramore will also take the stage alongside other performers to be announced soon. Stars like Demi Lovato, The Wanted, Skylar AstinBridgit Mendler and more will be making appearances. View the music categories below, and check out the full list of nominees here.

Fans can vote once each day per category at TeenChoiceAwards.com. Voting ends at 11:59 p.m. PST on Saturday, August 10.

The awards show airs Sunday, August 11 at 8 p.m. EST on Fox.
