The Jonas Brothers have “completely finished” their fifth album and hope to release it this fall, Kevin Jonas says. The still-untitled release (featuring “First Time”) follows 2009’s Lines, Vines And Trying Times and aims to reflect how the trio were inspired by current hit-makers, including Miguel, Calvin Harris and Frank Ocean.

“In the past we used influences that inspired us — the Beatles, the Jackson 5, things like that. This time around we used influences that were happening for us now, new music, things that were getting us inspired to get in the studio and write,” Kevin Jonas said to Billboard.

The JoBros last said that they finished their fifth album earlier this year, but given the above-mentioned influences, the new music may well be worth the wait. During their fall 2012 tour, the trio performed a series of covers that included Ocean’s “Thinkin’ Bout You.” Throughout that one in particular, Nick Jonas could barely hit a falsetto without fans screaming in delight.
