Those Daft Punk Condoms Are Bootlegs, So Be Careful Out There!

So those Daft Punk “Get Lucky” condoms that seemed like a match made in marketing heaven for Durex? Turns out they’re not an official Durex product. A representative for the brand told MTV that they have not partnered with Daft Punk. “We are aware of reports that Durex has launched Daft Punk branded condoms following their hit single ‘Get Lucky,'” the rep said. “There is no Durex promotion or partnership with Daft Punk in the US or any other markets and Durex is not posting free packs to the world’s top DJs as suggested.”

But the condoms do exist — Diplo Instagrammed a photo of the package, as did Sony Music Belgium. So, we’re not exactly sure what’s going on here, but if you’re getting lucky with a “Get Lucky” robot helmet, it sounds like you may be putting fate in the hands of a knockoff. Proceed with caution!
