Cory Monteith, 31, was found dead on Saturday in a Vancouver hotel room. The Glee actor leaves behind not only his family, but also his fellow castmates, including girlfriend Lea Michele, and the crew of the Fox series, who, for the past four years, have collaborated on the much talked-about and celebrated television series.

Michele, 26, and Monteith had been a couple in recent years, and People reports that her reps issued the following short statement today: “We ask that everyone kindly respect Lea’s privacy during this devastating time.”

But for some of Monteith’s other co-stars and behind-the-scenes co-workers on Glee, Twitter was the outlet they chose to offer up a few somber thoughts about the loss of the award-winning Canadian actor. Below is a round-up of tweets from Harry Shum, Jr. (“Mike Chang” on Glee) Dot-Marie Jones (“Coach Shannon Beiste”), Iqbal Theba (“Principal Figgins”), Damian McGinty (“Rory Flanagan”) and more, regarding the passing of their friend, Cory Monteith.
