It’s pretty amazing how in the space of one exceptional single (“The Way”), Ariana Grande has gone from being a “Who?” (at least in the mainstream, her Nickelodeon fans notwithstanding) to someone who can tease her new single with a low-quality 10-second snippet and have the public (myself included) absolutely gagging with anticipation. But that’s where we are, folks. That’s where we are.
Accordingly, Ms. Grande is about to head out on a little tour — she’s calling it The Listening Sessions tour, which feels nice and artful, doesn’t it? — with stops in some big spots (New York! Philly! Toronto!) as well as some smaller ones. Check the tour dates below, then preview “Baby I,” which sounds seriously, seriously major.
