The guys of Fall Out Boy are known for their theatrics, but the band took a minimalist approach during their performance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last night (July 18) — although they still brought their signature energy as they performed their new single “The Phoenix,” taken from their latest LP Save Rock and Roll.

Frontman Patrick Stump gave his all vocally while the rest of the band stomped out some seriously intense riffs. They even got the crowd rocking as they joined in with hand claps and a nice call-and-response moment.
