Mutya Keisha Siobhan’s “Flatline” Lyric Video: Watch The Graphic (Not Like That) Clip
Mutya Keisha Siobhan won’t be dropping their debut video (for impossibly great lead single “Flatline”) for awhile now — they just shot it in Los Angeles this past week — but they’re tiding over fans with a lyric video for the song, which sees the girls transformed into mod-style graphics. (It’s nice to be able to follow along the lyrics, too, since their harmonies can get a little chewy.)
In an unusual twist, though, it appears that the lyric video was actually made by a fan, and the girls loved it so much that they retooled it for an official release.
As the girls explained:
When we saw the ‘Flatline’ lyric video @cupidissimo created, we just had to make it our official one! Thanks Jonas! x //t.co/876EypR76L

And then looking back through that user’s timeline, it appears that he made this video a few weeks ago, and it’s since been pulled:
.@mksofficial I made you a lyric video – please don’t sue me! //t.co/R0shDEyZMH @siobhandonaghy @keisha_buchanan @MutyaBuena

In complete sincerity: It’s so nice to see a label actually reward fans’ enthusiasm rather than trying to control it or rein it in. (And the video is pretty cool, too.)
Watch up top.
