Pink Says “So What” About That Kanye West Rant

Yesterday (July 18) audio surfaced online of Kanye West going on a post-2009 VMAs rant regarding Taylor Swift, Pink, MTV, racism and a few other things. The discreetly recorded tape jumps in mid-conversation, so there’s no context and thus it’s tough to decipher West’s arguments. But one thing was clear: he was pissed that Pink got to perform two songs at the 2009 MTV VMAs while he got nothing. “How the fuck Pink perform two songs and I didn’t even get asked to perform ‘Heartless’?” he says in the tape. “I don’t know that Pink song! But I noticed that she’s pink!”

Today, Pink took to Twitter to respond in very classy fashion. In fact, you could even argue that she’s defending Mr. West. “Oh come on y’all… If people secretly recorded me and all the shit I talk…. It’s all good. All love.” In other words….“So What.”
