Royal Teeth’s “Stay”: Idolator Premiere

New Orleans’ Royal Teeth burst onto the scene with the irresistible “Wild,” and now the peppy six-piece is getting ready to drop their debut album Glow on August 13 (pre-order here). With just a few weeks to go, we’re pumped to premiere “Stay,” which is the first bit of new material the band have released since their Act Naturally EP.

As they did on “Wild,” Gary Larsen and Nora Patterson weave their voices together into a silky, weightless cloud of irrepressibly joyous chants. And you’ll again find yourself throwing your own voice into the mix by the end. There are some lovely atmospherics present as well, thanks to the chiming guitars and a particularly shimmery bridge. It all makes for the perfect soundtrack for those late-summer sunsets.
