While Bastille have scored an international hit with their single “Pompeii,” they’ve yet to conquer the United States — until now. With the release of their debut album Bad Blood planned for a North American release this fall, the UK boys are currently stateside, pushing “Pompeii” as their lead single and making a string of promotional stops.

After playing the Troubadour in Los Angeles on Tuesday night, Bastille stopped by Conan O’Brien‘s late night show, Conan, on Wednesday to perform the lead single — and they left a pretty good impression for their stateside debut. Will “Pompeii” lead the band to success in North America? History is on their side, as the single has already hit the Top 10 hit all over the world — namely, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Belgium and Sweden.

Bad Bloods is out in North America on September 3, and you can catch them on a mini-US tour this fall.
