PSY’s Album Is Coming In September & His New Songs Are “Kinda Nice”

Oh, PSY! Things haven’t really taken off for the K-pop jester the way everyone had hoped, have they? Sure, “Gentleman” hit the Top 10, but when was the last time anyone heard it on the radio? Yes. Yes, exactly.

But still! Aside from his probable alcoholism (as he told the Sunday Times recently: “If I’m happy, I’m drinking, if I’m sad, I’m drinking. If it’s raining, I’m drinking, if it’s sunny, I’m drinking”), there’s actually some good news on the horizon — his album is finally coming out in September. In Korea. Not sure about anywhere else. But still. It’s an album. That’s a good thing, right? Something to get excited about? Something to effuse and promote?

Well, maybe. PSY tweeted on Monday that he’d been hard at work on the upcoming LP: “Already done with three songs and they are kinda nice,” he wrote.

“Kinda nice”? Good promo.
