Ariana Grande Unveils Eye-Popping, High Kitsch ‘Yours Truly’ Album Cover
Ariana Grande unveiled the cover of her hotly-anticipated debut album on Twitter today (July 31) and it definitely leaves a lasting impression. Yours Truly — in stores September 3 — looks like a cross between an Anne Geddes calendar and a Victoria’s Secret catalogue. Not since Celine Dion‘s iconic Miracle cover art has an artist shown such refined taste and sophistication!
Jokes aside, the 20-year-old looks lovely (above the neck) but the babydoll styling and little girl pose is kind of alarming considering the fact she’s wearing lingerie while crouched on a bed of roses, pouting innocently for the camera. But as Ariana reminded us in a tweet: “it’s about the music.” And the music we’ve heard thus far has been very good indeed. See the kooky diva‘s tweets after the jump.
