Jennifer Lopez Finalizing $15 Million Deal To Return To ‘American Idol’: Report
Rumors have been swirling around Jennifer Lopez‘s return to the American Idol panel, and now we’ve got another report suggesting an announcement is nigh. Deadline reports that the singer is about to finalize a deal to come back for season 13 of the show for a solid $15 millon. Earlier this month, FOX confirmed that Keith Urban would be the only judge from season 12 to return, and last week Yahoo! spoke to an inside source that said JLo and will.i.am would join the country singer on the show.
Jennifer Hudson, Adam Lambert and Kelly Clarkson were all previously thrown into the judging mix before the idea was eventually thrown out, perhaps related to the ouster of executive producers Nigel Lythgoe and Ken Warwick.
