Saints of Valory make great music on their own, but as it turns out, their covers are just as strong: Their latest offering is a cover of “Royals” by New Zealand’s rising superstar Lorde — which we’re happy to premiere. The video, which was shot in Colorado’s Red Rocks Park, shows the Austin, Texas-based band completely in their element — with only their instruments and nature surrounding them.

The band softened the indie edge of the original song and successfully placed their own country-tinged, rocker twist on it. The dudes of Saints of Valory are readying for their full-length album debut, but in the meantime, their Possibilities EP (which features the single “Neon Eyes”) is available now.

View their cover of “Royals” up top, and check out their new video for “Neon Eyes” below.
