There’s no such thing as too much Jessie J! A couple of days after dropping catchy new single “It’s My Party”, the short-haired siren gently massages our ears with her contribution to The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. This promises to give The Great Gatsby a run for its money in the soundtrack stakes. Apart from the lovely Miss J, it boasts new songs by Zedd and Youngblood Hawke as well as Demi Lovato‘s eagerly-awaited “Heart By Heart”.

But back to Jessie. “Magnetic” is a moody electro-anthem that finds the Brit in a typically feisty mood. “I’m moving at a speed that makes everybody look slow, what happens if I let go?” she muses over a shower of synths and pounding beats. The dance track is slickly produced, high on atmosphere and allows the big-lunger singer to show her full range. What more do you need? Take a listen after the jump.
