Watch Eminem Perform In New York City For G-Shock’s 30th Anniversary

Eminem came out of hiding for G-Shock’s “Shock The World” 30th anniversary party in New York City Wednesday (August 7). Why’d the reclusive MC show up at a gig for a watchmaker? Well, Slim Shady has an endorsement deal with the brand, and he collaborated with them on a 30th anniversary watch.

This show served as a warmup for Em’s headlining concerts over in Europe later this month. The Detroit rapper is playing Belgium’s Pukkelpop Festival, followed by a trio of dates with Tyler, the Creator, Kendrick Lamar, Earl Sweatshirt and Yelawolf. And that could mean we’ll hear the live debut of some new material in less than two weeks.

For now, though, we’ll have to settle for some of his old hits. Watch him tear through “Won’t Back Down” up top, then head below for “Stan,” “Lose Yourself” and more.

Eminem — “Lose Yourself”

Eminem — “Stan”

Eminem — “Lighters”
