M.I.A.’s ‘Matangi’ Gets Release Date After She Threatens To Leak The Album
Well that was fast! It seems M.I.A.‘s threats to leak Matangi may have actually scared her label into setting a release date. Just hours after she ranted about Interscope on Twitter for apparently dragging their feet and getting in the way of her album release, Pitchfork reports that the LP is now due November 5.
M.I.A.’s fourth album was originally slated for a 2012 release after she premiered new song “Bad Girls,” but it was then delayed until April for being “too positive.” April came and went with no album, but soon after we got the album’s first official single, “Bring The Noize,” followed by “Only 1 U.”
