Demi Lovato Joins ‘Glee’ Cast For At Least Six Episodes
Demi Lovato is returning to acting this fall as a member of the Glee cast. The singer and X Factor judge has signed on for “a significant arc” on the FOX series, according to TV Line, which will last for at least six episodes. The storyline will find Lovato singing with Adam Lambert‘s character (!!!), and she is slated to make her first appearance on the October 3 Beatles-themed episode.
Thanks to her new gig, FOX viewers will get a double dose of Demi on Thursday nights: Glee is set to air immediately following The X Factor‘s weekly results show.
Season five of Glee premieres September 26 — the date was pushed back following the death of cast member Cory Monteith. A Monteith tribute episode will air one week after Lovato’s first appearance.
