During the recording of her fifth studio album Blackout, Britney Spears was caught up in a messy divorce with Kevin Federline. She vented her frustrations about her ex-husband in the (underrated) album closer track, “Why Should I Be Sad?” The popstress laid it all out on the table as she referenced Federline cheating on her in Las Vegas and how he tipped off gossip magazines about their marriage: “Made your choice with all the teams, People and US magazines / tell me who’d I do that for, who?” With this diss track, Spears brushed off the mistake that was K-Fed as quickly as she married him.
