R. Kelly Gloats In “My Story” Video But 2 Chainz Is Nowhere To Be Found: Watch

Phoenix collaborator and failed national anthem scribe R. Kelly has just dropped the video for his 2 Chainz-assisted, somewhat defensive bragging rights track “My Story” from his upcoming album Black Panties. The video is a pretty straightforward retrospective of Chicago’s favorite son, tracing his humble beginnings while intercutting indelible images of his massive success. (2 Chainz’ glorious visage was left on the editing room floor, apparently.)

In succession, Kells goes H.A.M. in front of Marina City, performs for a packed arena, hits the club, hits the studio, dodges throngs of fans and paparazzi and sports a seriously sharp tuxedo with a Tony Montana cigar. I think we can all agree Robert Kelly’s “story” makes everyone else’s “story” seem like a Reader’s Digest blurb.
