Justin Bieber has been talking up new music pretty much since the day Believe hit shelves in 2012, and then continued teasing fans this year after dropping Believe: Acoustic, constantly hinting that he’s been hard at work at some sort of follow-up. Now his manager, Scooter Braun, says Biebs will drop new material in October…followed by a Christmas movie of some sort.

“@justinbieber gives u some new music in October until December and then a special movie on Christmas,” Braun tweeted Monday (September 9). Previously, the super-manager said the project and lead single “Heartbreaker” will change the game in terms of releasing music in the streaming age.

Bieber has been busy in the studio this summer — most recently he was spotted cooking something up with both Future and Big Sean — but it’s been more than three months since he first started dropping hints about “Heartbreaker.” Three scandalous, hilarious months. Considering the lack of tabloidy Bieber stories in recent weeks, we’re open to the idea that he’s hunkered down in a studio somewhere putting on the finishing touches.
