Megan & Liz’s Still-Great “Release You” Gets A Real Video: Watch

Oh, man. Megan & Liz. What’s not to love? They’re quirky and effervescent and eminently likable, and they can really sang and their songs are so good, especially this one, “Release You,” which takes their natural songwriting precocity and gives it some next-level pop zest courtesy of Max Martin at the helm. (It was my personal song of the summer, frankly.)

They’re a little late to the party with this video (since the song dropped a few months ago), and for better or for worse, it’s one of these behind-the-scenes-plus-live-concert-footage-B-roll affairs, but you know what? It’s Megan & Liz, and it’s a video for “Release You.” Let’s be grateful for all we’ve been given. And again, if we need striking visuals or Liz serving endless beachy mane realness, there’s always the irresistible video for “In the Shadows Tonight.” (My song of the fall, obv.)

Watch up top.
