Will Justin Bieber Play Robin In ‘Batman Vs. Superman’?
Justin Bieber, boy wonder? Fans of his music would agree, but fans of DC Comics may soon have to decide for themselves. On September 13, Bieber posed for Instagram (above) next to a script for Batman vs. Superman, the recently-announced sequel to Zack Snyder‘s Man of Steel. The photo’s caption? “#robin ??”
Batman vs. Superman will star Ben Affleck as Batman, a contentious choice given his starring role in 2003’s lackluster Daredevil. The film promises an “entirely new reincarnation” of the Dark Knight. Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara recently elaborated to say that Batman will be “kind of tired and weary and seasoned.”
Meanwhile, Bieber could be pulling a prank. As The Atlantic points out, he also said on Twitter that he’s “off to do something funny…or die. :)” Plus, his small list of acting credits include playing himself this year in an episode of The Simpsons.
