Tina Arena released her first original single in nine long years today (September 26). “You Set Fire To My Life”, the handiwork of Swedish producers Mattias Lindblom and Anders Wollbeck, is a sophisticated slice of adult pop music that oozes emotion and perfectly showcases the enduring diva’s world-famous pipes.

Perhaps best known in America for surprise 1994 hit “Chains”, the 45-year-old singer has been a household name in Australia since appearing on Young Talent Time along side Dannii Minogue in the early ’80s. She has been focusing on cover versions and French language albums for the past decade, which makes this gem such a treat for fans that miss Tina in pop mode. Watch the video below.
