Alison Goldfrapp Smolders While Performing ‘Drew’ On ‘Fallon’: Watch
If you haven’t figured this out already, we are pretty big fans of UK baroque pop duo Goldfrapp — comprised of lead singer Alison Goldfrapp and keyboardist Will Gregory–over here at Idolator. Their starkly pared-down sixth studio album Tales of Us, released earlier this month, received solid reviews and is currently charting nicely in 17 different countries. Backed by a classical string arrangement and bathed in cool blue light, they stopped by Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to perform the slow burning, darkly noirish ballad “Drew” (the video for which is mesmerizing) showcasing Alison’s fragile vocals and haunting stage presence.
