Miley Cyrus brought the laughs (and bathroom twerking) to Saturday Night Live with an amusing political parody of “We Can’t Stop” called, accurately enough given the state of congress, “We Did Stop (The Government)”. The 20-year-old makes a surprisingly convincing Michele Bachmann, while comedian Taran Killam plays House Speaker John Boehner.

“Red states and sweaty bodies everywhere, bill’s in the house like we don’t care,” sings the chart-topper while grinding on a Lycra-clad Boehner, before continuing: “if you’re not ready for healthcare, can I get a ‘hell no!'” Miley takes to her new gig as a political satirist like a stripper to a pole, giving her absolute all in the name of comedy. Watch up top.
