Mutya Keisha Siobhan Offer Up Amazing Acoustic Cover Lorde’s “Royals”: Watch
When it comes to sweet harmonies in modern day pop, few do it better than Mutya Keisha Siobhan, otherwise known as the ladies who made up the original version of UK icons Sugababes. The “Flatline” trio are currently in rehearsals for a UK tour, and decided to give Google+ Sessions a close-up look at their stripped-down abilities by staging a recorded performance — one that included a cover of current US chart topper “Royals.”
If I were Lorde, I’d be bowing my curly locks down and giving props to MKS, who were mere teens themselves when they shot to superstardom. You’ve no doubt heard several covers of the song in recent months, but this one is pretty solid.
