Miley Cyrus Takes Over ‘Ellen’: Watch Her Perform, Talk VMAs & Her Breakup
Miley Cyrus took over The Ellen DeGeneres Show today (October 11), performing a particularly twangy version of her smash “Wrecking Ball” and looking relatively demure in a retro jumpsuit/overall get-up. Cyrus also sat down for a fun interview that covered a wide range of topics. The controversial pop star opened up about her VMAs performance, astutely pointing out the double standards, both gender-based and otherwise (Robin Thicke was just as complicit as Miley but nobody cared, Lady Gaga wore a thong but nobody cared). She also addressed her breakup with Liam Hemsworth, saying by separating herself from another person she was able to focus on herself.
